PADI Open Water Certification

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the first full certification level in scuba diving and is recognized worldwide. It’s designed for beginners with no prior experience and provides all the foundational skills, safety procedures, and knowledge needed to become a confident diver.

The course consists of three main parts:

  1. Knowledge Development (eLearning) – Complete this portion online at your own pace. It covers dive theory, safety, equipment, planning, and problem-solving.

  2. Confined Water Dives – These pool sessions introduce you to essential scuba skills in a controlled environment, where you practice and master them with an instructor.

  3. Open Water Dives – You’ll complete four dives in an actual ocean, lake, or quarry setting to apply your skills in real-world conditions.

Once certified, you’ll be able to dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 60 feet (18 meters) without professional supervision, and you'll be eligible to continue training with advanced and specialty courses. The certification never expires and is your passport to dive adventures around the world.
